then I stopped and turned myself around.
Thought about the days gone by,
couldn't laugh and I wouldn't cry,
so I picked myself up off the ground.

I think a lot, but I don't do.
Will I ever get a clue?
I know you got to work, to get it done.
So I work for a little while,

all the time I know I should have run.

Every time I try to write a song
it sounds the same.
But I keep on trying desperately
to play the game.

Well, I think it's kinda funny
when they say that "time is money"...
Means they want you to work all day,
even though they don't pay that way.
Well, I think it's kinda crazy
when they say that you are lazy...
Just because you have a life
